Tom,

I read your pedigree on ancestry.com of Priscilla Seamans. I just wanted to
bring to your attention that the mother of Priscilla Seamans, b 1781 was Anna
Hines, not Zilpha Hines. Zilpha was Anna's sister and both had the same
husband. However, after Zilpha's death, Anna gave birth to Priscilla.

Priscilla Seamans and Jonathan Rogers (Rodgers) were my ggg grandparents, and
I am vitally interested in finding anything about Jonathan's ancestry,
siblings, and children. I am descended from one of his children, Zenas Rogers
b in Saratoga Co in 1809, d Onondaga Co in 1889. The pedrigees obtained from
Lawton's 1933 book on the Seamans ancestry list Jonathan's last name as
Rodgers, but all other documents like wills, census records etc. have always
listed him as ROGERS without the D. If you have anything at all that could
shed some light on this, it would be appreciated.

Tom,

I was very excited and appreciative to find the genealogy of PRISCILLA
SEAMANS that you apparently submitted to the AOL genealogy website !!

Priscilla Seamans and Jonathan Rogers (Rodgers) were my gr gr gr grandparents
and I have for years been trying to find the parents/ancestors of both
Jonathan and Priscilla. Just last week I found the maidem name of Priscilla
on the LDS website. I was very excited to find the (your) ancestral pedrigee
of Priscilla Seamans on the AOL site tonight since all of that was new to me !

I am descended through Zenas Rogers (b 1809 in Saratoga Co NY, d 1889 in
Onondaga Co NY). Zenas was the son of Jonathan and Priscilla. (Jonathan and
Priscilla lived on the adjacent farm to Zenas in Clay N.Y. in 1850 after
moving there from Saratoga Co. ) Priscilla Rogers died at the home of her
daughter Mary Rogers Feeck (presumably Zenas's sister) and her son in law
Peter Feeck on Sept16,1864 in Seneca Falls, N.Y. I never found the date of
death or location for Jonathan Rogers, although from census records he was
born ca 1771 or 81 in R.I., Priscilla was born 1781 in R.I. , as your record
confirms with the census record that I have.

I have no idea how much, if any information you may have on Jonathan Rogers'
siblings, ancestors, or children, and so I will provide all of the scant
information about his possible children that I have, in hopes that you may
have some further information:

Zenas Rogers, the son of Jonathan and Priscilla Rogers, moved from Saratoga
Co. N.Y. to Clay, Onondaga County N.Y. in 1830. Zenas Rogers married Almira
Botsford (1812-1883) of Onondaga Co. Possible brothers/cousins of Zenas
Rogers were Daniel Rogers b.ca. 1807 and Riley G. Rogers (dates unknown). ALL
of the above Rogers including Jonathan and Priscilla Rogers lived in Clay,
Onondaga Co. in 1850. Jonathan and Priscilla Rogers sold land to John Rogers,
Greenfield township, Saratoga Co. in 1833, witnessed by Adam C. Rogers (d.
1837). -possibly related?

If you have any information about the children, siblings, or ancestors of
Jonathan Rogers (Rodgers) I would very much appreciate it if you could share
it with me, or advise me of someone who may have this information.
