Hello Thomas: Noted your web page while trolling the net. Note that you have Nathan Galloway, b.1815 with wife 1st wife Rispah Northcutt, 2nd wife Hannah Delk. This is not correct. The Nathan Galloway who married Rispah Northcutt was born c.1792 in GA, and moved with wife Rispah to Butler Co., AL where they had a large family. The Nathan Galloway you noted in Darlington SC is likely a younger cousin.

1865: Pipkin Galloway was captured 1/15/1865 at Fort Fisher, NC. He was transported to Elmira Prison Camp at Elmira, NY. He died 3/7/1865 from gangrene of the feet. (Fort Fisher guarded the mouth of the Cape Fear River which led to Wilmington, NC.)
