PaulÙus mother died when he was 3, Helen was 6, but they had several older siblings. Paul and Helen were put in orphanages, sent to live with family, etc ÙX I guess their father Frank couldnÙut or didnÙut want to take care of them. Frank soon remarried from best I can tell, and the family stories are that the step-mother treated Helen and Paul very badly. Helen ran away around 16 or so and lived on the streets. She may have tried to take Paul with her. At any rate, Helen ended up in NJ and I have found Paul in Florida, he and Thelma married pretty young.

LeDUC, Kenneth Clayton 76, of Treasure Island, passed away Oct. 10, at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. A native of St. Petersburg, he was a 1951 graduate of SPHS. He received degrees from SPJC, Univ. of FL (BME with honors '58) and Univ. of Santa Clara (MBA '70). He was certified by the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer, General Contractor and Building Official. He spent 20 years of his career with G.E. in Gainesville, FL in various positions of engineering management and held 7 U.S. patents for G.E. He was active at various times in his life with the American Heart Association, Rotary, Kiwanis, and Elks and was a life member of the American Legion and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. After his retirement, he coordinated numerous alumni reunion activities for his class at SPHS. An Army Signal Corps cryptographer and veteran of the Korean conflict, he will be interred at Bay Pines Veterans Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Brian LeDuc, of Apex, NC; and daughter, Mari Hamilton (Fred), of Gainesville, FL; and brother Bob LeDuc (Millie) of Brooksville, FL.
