John W Winfield Married three times. Loveday Janes Peters, Timmie O'Shiver, and Amanda Clark. Birth and death dates from grave marker.

Served in the CSA 1st Al Cav. Enlisted 11-12-1861.
Thumb shot off and in Dec 1863 was detailed to Montgomery Arsenal by Gen. Bragg. He was then 41, Blue eyes, Dark hair, light complexion, 5'9" and a carpenter. He was paroled 5-15-1865 in Montgomery.
He apparently did not return home to his family as he disappears from 1865 to 1890. In 1890 he is in Madison County Fl.

Existense of Timmie O' Shiver is by family info only and has never been found in official records.

My theory is that his first wife died close to last child Rosetta. John then took a new wife but apparently was missed by the different census's. Then he married again after either Timmie O' Shiver died or they broke up.
