1810: Samuel Hearon sells 54 acres to Winston [Vincent] Delk on 3/10/1810; described as part of 200 acres originally granted to Philip Pittman, situated between William Mozingo and Samuel Hearon, recorded 3/25/1811. [see Pittman land grant; 1775]

1812: Vincent, with service in War of 1812, applied for bounty land; White Sulphur Springs, Lauderdale County, Mississippi; 5/28/1832.

1812: Vincent Delk, 54 acres to Thomas Kea,Tuesday, January 14, 1812, near Lynches Creek. This property is part of original 250 acre land grant to Phillip Pittman on 6/6/1775. The land was adjacent to William Mozingo, near Lynches Creek. [see Hearon to Delk; 1810]

1813: Samuel Hearon to Vincent Delk; 200 acres on the Eastside of Lynches Creek, adjacent to Mozingo and Cotton; known as the " (David) Cannon Grant," next to the original grant of Philip Pitman, now property of Thomas Kea, dated 9/29/1813, recorded 10/20/1813. [ref Book G, pp 249, roll # C 7002.]

1816: Samuel Hearon sells 200 acres to Asa Woodham. Adjoins Vincent Delk, Samuel Hearon; running SW 58:55; running SE 16:27; running NE 85:28:10. [dated 12/30/1816]

1820: Listed in order in the 1820 US Census, Vincent Delk, Daniel Hearon (son of James Hearon Sr.,) Abram Beasley, Thomas Kea.

1820: Vincent Delk; 1820 Darlington County census; 2-0-0-0-1; 0-2-1-0-1; page 64. [Newel Delk also on page 64.]

1820: 'Atha' Woodham, brother of Asa, sells John Beasley, Jr., 168 acres; property bounded by Vincent Delk, Henry Beasley, and Bramlett land. [dated 8/14/1820, recorded 3/3/1824]

1826: Thomas Kea appraises estate of Moses Shirley; included in Will file is record of 325 acre Shirley plat adjoining Lynches creek; the land borders Samuel Hearon, Charles Beasley, Asa Woodham. On the 1820 Mills Atlas map, Moses Shirley next to Samuel Hearon; presently SC Road 13, north from US 15, running parallel to Lynches River.

1828: Thomas and Elenor Kea witness the Will of Benjamin Skinner, on Thursday, June 26, 1828. Thomas Kea, William Mozingo, and Vinson Delk appraise estate of Benjamin Skinner. (Will Bk 7, p 332)

1831: Bird Skinner to Vincent Delk, 227 acres, dated 2/1/1831, recorded 4/1/1831 [ J 88]

1832: Vincent, with service in War of 1812, applied for bounty land; White Sulphur Springs, Lauderdale County, Mississippi; 5/28/1832.

1833: Jesse Skinner sells Asa Woodham 100 acres. Bounded by Vincent Delk, Cannon land, Lewis Hicks, and Samuel Hearon line. [dated 2/2/1833]

1833: Vincent Delk sells Asa Woodham 394 acres, January 10,1833, on Lynches Creek. [Darlington RMC Book L, page 436, recorded 3/3/1834]; see plat.

1833: Vincent Delk sells 3 parcels, December 2, 1833, to Asa Woodham; 260, 95, and 45. [Darlington Co., RMC Book M, page 6, recorded 5/8/1834]

The 260 acre parcel bounded by Thomas Kea, William Mozingo, Lemuel Skinner, John Gatlin, Byrd Skinner, and John Beasley, to line on Cannon grant. Vincent Delk originally purchased this land from Samuel Hearon on 9/29/1813.

The 95 acre parcel. Vincent Delk originally purchased this land from John Shirley on 12/12/1826.

The 45 acre parcel bounded by Redden Beasley, Samuel Hearon, Jesse Skinner, to the 95 acre line.

1833: Stephen sells 168 acres, [bounded by Newitt Delk, John Beasley, Stephen Woodham, Vincent Delk, and Redden Beasley;] to Ira Woodham on 12/9/1833, recorded 7/17/1834. This is same property Edward Woodham inherited from Ariss Woodham, deceased.

1835: About 1835, Vincent migrated to Lauderdale County, Ms. [V R Delk, Hattisburg, Ms]

His plantation borders Matchet Fields (NE), William Northcut (E), James Vann, Brittan Harris, and Elias DuBose lands. [also see year 1830 entry]

1810: Abraham Beasley and Warren Key is recorded 12 households apart in 1810 US Census. Three Beasley family members; Abraham, his wife Elizabeth, and son Noel, born 5/13/1809. Three Key family members would be Warren, his wife Nancy, and son Burrell, born 1810.
