81 years old, born September 7, 1917 in Portland, Oregon, died August 29, 1999 in Kirkland, Washington. He is survived by his son, Donald N. Marlow of Edmonds, daughter, Diane A. Biddle of Cle Elum; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Faith Marlow in 1994. He was a member of Local #77 I.E.B.W. and had worked for City Light for 40 years. A private family service will be held and inurnment will be in Acacia Cemetery, Seattle. In Quincy, Gadsden County, FL, Margery Clayton, a single female child, fifth of her mother, legitimate, was born on July 13, 1920, at 4:45 a.m., to O. J. Clayton and Virgie Andrews, both white, of Quincy. He was 38, she was 31. Both were born in Jefferson County, FL. He was a lawyer, she was a housewife. With the birth of Margery, she only had two children living. The physician was R. G. Garland of Quincy. On Nov. 18, 1959, a correction was made, apparently changing the name to Marjorie May Clayton.

Marjorie May Clayton McMahon, widow of Hugh Vincent McMahon, Jr., died November 18, 2011 in Greenville from complications of dementia. She was 91 years old.
 
Marj was born July 13, 1920 in Quincy, FL, daughter of Virgie Andrews and OrlandoJohn Clayton. Siblings: Florida Victoria, Clara Vertie and Orlando John Jr. died as infants; sisters Virginia and Shellievieve predeceased Marj.
 
Marj was a graduate of Florida State College for Women (now FSU) and Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY.She taught music at Florida State; Stephens College, Columbia,MO; and for many years in Broward County, Florida elementary schools. Marj resided in Greenville County for the past several years. She was a resident of Pendleton Manor, Greenville, for the last couple of years, and was cared for by Lutheran Hospice in her final days.
 
Marj was very active in the Methodist Church. She never had an ill word to say about anyone. She was a quiet, gentle soul who loved her family,children, cats, dogs, and nature.
 
Marj is survived by four daughters and their spouses:
Lynn and Kent Davis, Travelers Rest, South Carolina; Loretta and Rob Hardesty, Aptos, California; Leslie McMahon and Juraj Majovsky, Coupeville, WA; and Erin and Tommy Levidiotis, Oxford, MS; six grandchildren and their spouses: Scott and Erin Hardesty, Santa Cruz, CA, and daughter Ellie, Marj's only great grandchild; Nick Hardesty, San Francisco; Dassance Resler and Reed Raymond, San Francisco;Reagan and Eduard Valeyev, Roanoke, VA; Clarke Levidiotis, Brooklyn; and Florida Victoria Levidiotis, Chicago; as well as nieces, a nephew, and their families.
 
Memorials in Marj's honor may be made to Plantation United Methodist Church, 1001 NW 70th Ave., Plantation, Florida 33313. Memorials in Marj's honor maybe made to Upstate Forever, a conservation organization, P. O. Box 2308, Greenville, SC 29602.

Hugh McMahon was born at Missouri Baptist Sanitorium in St. Louis. He was a full term, legitimate male, a single birth, the fourth child born to his mother. Date of birth was Aug. 7, 1921 at 9:54 p.m. Father was Hugh V. McMahon of 4222 Lafayette, a 27 year old white man, born in St. Louis, a salesman. His mother was Henrietta Brown, same address, 27 year old white woman, born in St. Louis, usual occupation H. W. [house wife]. His mother had three living children at this time. The physician was W. H. Carruthers of 1601 S. Grand.

Hugh was a private first class in the U. S. Army when his father died during WW2.

McMAHON - Hugh Vincent "Mac", Jr. died of cancerat his Plantation home on Thursday, December 16, 1999, at 78 years of age. Hewas born August 8, 1921, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Hugh Vincent McMahon andLoretta Claire Brown McMahon . He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.Retired for several years, he came to Broward County with his family in 1959,where he worked in sales. He was a member of the Rare Fruit and VegetableCouncil, and planted his yard with a wide variety of unusual fruits andflowering trees. He was generous to family and friends; never met a child, dogor cat he didn't like; and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved andwill be missed by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie Clayton McMahon ; his sister,Helen Bourscheidt of Kerrville, TX; and his daughters and their families: Lynnand Kent Davis of Travelers Rest, SC; Lorettaand Rob Hardesty and sons Scott and Nick of Aptos, CA; Leslie McMahon and Charles Young of Ithaca, NY, and daughterDassance Resler of New York City; Erin andTommy Levidiotis and daughters Reagan, Clarke, and Florida of Oxford, MI; andnumerous other relatives and friends.
